Amber Lanning is an international actress, singer, voice over artist and choreographer. Amber is originally from Beaumont, Texas where she received a BS and MS in Theatre from Lamar University. Amber has studied extensively the Meisner Approach to Acting at the True Acting Institute with Larry Silverberg in Oregon, Florida and Manchester, UK. Amber has lived in New York, Oman, Qatar, The Netherlands, Germany and currently resides in Texas.
Amber has had a very diverse international career. In the Middle East she worked as an actress, playwright, makeup artist for National Ad campaigns and as a private acting and voice teacher. In Europe, she found work on stage and in film. During her time abroad Amber returned to the states to be in several stage productions.
Amber started out her professional acting career in Southeast Texas. Her first professional job was playing the role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet alongside the Symphony of Southeast Texas. She would later work for The Children’s Performance Company as their choreographer for several productions. Texas provided Amber with commercial and voiceover opportunities as well.
Upon returning to the USA, Amber immediately jumped back into the creative world (or was pulled in, it is debateable...) with projects such as being a selection committee member for the Gary Garrison Playwrighting Festival and directing one of the winning scripts, choreographing a musical, being an adjunct instuctor for speech and oral communication, musically directing a show and becoming a resident member of the Granbury Theatre Company.

Amber continues to observe world theatre everywhere she lives and visits. A major goal for her as an artist and person is to live with authenticity, simplicity and humanity and to fuse that into her work.
